About the Author
B.A. Binns is the eldest of five children who grew up in Chicago, Illinois. Like her character, she was forced to assume an adult role after her parents divorced. This former professional student has degrees in Biochemistry and Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin, Michigan State University, Roosevelt University, and DePaul University. She most recently attended Harper College, where she honed her writing skills. A mother of one adult child who, recently retired from AT&T. Barbara now lives and writes in a Chicago suburb.
