Read What Writers Are Saying About Stringz:
"Jace Adams has a whole lot to figure out and a whole lot of baggage to sort through. But then there’s always the music to keep a kid going. Bravo, Jace! Bravo, Wenberg!"
—Tim Wynne-Jones, author of Rex Zero, The Great Pretender
"Stringz touched me very deeply. Michael Wenberg’s done something very special, and has rare understanding of so many things—classical music, hiphop, black culture, and kids. His book has a huge heart, and a great sense of humor. And most of all, a deep love of all kinds of music."
—Classical Music Critic for The Wall Street Journal, composer, writer and Juilliard Faculty member
Praise for Seattle Blues:
"[Maya] grows from a self-centered, immature brat into a caring, considerate girl showing genuine love with Ruby, who reveals the tender secrets hidden by her protective shell .... The sound development of the two main characters and their warm relationship will appeal to ... girls..."
